Farmers Field Day Organized at Sitapur on October 21, 2016

Krishi Vigyan Kendra 2, Sitapur and Sopaan Foundation for Development, New Delhi jointly organised Farmers Field Day at village Angetha, Biswan, Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh with the objective to motivate farmers for adoption of new technologies. Progressive farmers from Blocks Sakaran, Behta and Biswan participated in the event and shared their experiences of recent technologies for increasing productivity of mustard and maintain soil fertility.

Interacting with legendary farmer in Maharastra and Goa

Sopaan Foundation in association with KP Productions Indore visited legendary farmers in Maharastra and Goa on May 30- June 3, 2015 for the study of their progress and impact in farming. It was observed that Mrs Swati and Rajesh in Baramati, Pune have successfully entered in the commercialization of floriculture and Integrated Farming System. This has resulted in increase of their income, life quality and education of children, recognition in the society as opinion maker.​

Exposure visit of Farmers to Krishi Vigyan Kendra II Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh

Sopaan Foundation for Development organized one day exposure visit of a group of progressive farmers from Block Behta, Sitapur on 1st October, 2014 to KVK for knowledge sharing in agriculture on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. Dr Daya Srivastava Scientist explained the activities and recent technology in rice production, rabbit farming, lac cultivation, fish farming, fodder development, azolla culture and nappier grass.
